OpenSpace Women in Tech: Let’s speak English
You’re invited to our next Women in Tech Open Space on April 29 at 8PM! This time we’re going to hold the open space in English – for any topic related to Women in Tech that you would like to discuss, but especially topics related to English, German as a foreign language, or Germany’s work culture.
Grab a cup of coffee or get cozy with your favorite tea – and dive into an open, interactive evening full of discussion, inspiration, and support.
🌟 What you can expect
Our Open Space is not a presentation, it’s an open room for you and your topics. Bring whatever’s on your mind right now, and we decide together which topics resonate.
Example topics we could talk about:
- What level of German do I need to have to get a job in Germany and how do I get there?
- How do I improve my career-related English?
- What German tech meetups, groups, or forums are welcoming to minorities?
- How do I get my coworkers to speak German when they switch to English any time I hesitate on a word?
- Anyone want to practice talking in English for a session?
You can simply listen, share your experiences or bring specific questions. To discussion multiple interesting topics simultaneously, we’ll split up into smaller breakout rooms so that every voice is heard.
